Since 1969 Accoat has been providing surface solutions to a vast range of industries all over the world.
Our customers include the foodstuffs industry, pharmaceutical companies, the heavy chemicals industry and the oil and gas industries – amongst other.

Originally Accoat was founded in Tikøb by baker Mr. Preben Jørgensen. Today Accoat is a subsidiary of SP Group, a Danish organisation listed on the Nordic Stock Exchange in Copenhagen.
SP Group has subsidiaries in several countries and has more than 700 employees.

Accoat is based in Kvistgaard 40 km North of Copenhagen and employs 65 people at a 9.000m2 production facility.

Focus on Quality and Cost Efficiency

Accoat’s ability to deliver efficient services is confirmed by the certifications that Accoat has received. Back in 1993,
Accoat received the quality standard DS/ISO 9001 and in 1999 the DS/ISO 140001 environmental standard. Two years ago, in 2008, Accoat became a qualified supplier in the Joint Qualification System (JQS), Achilles.

Downhole Production Tubing - StreaMax™
 
Accoat is a partner in marketing DuPont® StreaMax™ flow solutions for Downhole Production Tubing. Moreover, Accoat is first choice as applicator of internal coating in the North Sea Region. DuPont® StreaMax™, that is a registered trademark of DuPont®,
is a newly developed coating designed to maximise well productivity and to minimise operation and maintenance costs.

New plant to the coatings of oil tubes

Accoat is building another plant in Denmark aimed at meeting customers’ requirements within the oil and gas industries. With its 1.800m2 area the new location is specifically intended for the coating of downhole production tubes, while the transport system can handle up to 40t.
The plant carries out internal sandblasting pre-treating processes for tubing, and the sinter ovens’ capacity is 14 x 3.2 x 3.2m.
