NHS organisations have commissioned us to provide care on their behalf for over 30 years, meaning we have been commissioned through many different NHS structures, organisations and consortia. Our relationship with the NHS is a long and successful one. With the advent of Clinical Commissioning Groups it is expected that our services will be increasingly commissioned by a different group of commissioners which is relatively unfamiliar with our service. We have proven models of locality based services and the key to our relationships with all our commissioners is flexibility – we know that needs vary in different regions, so we are capable of tailoring service to individual commissioning requirements.
 
Over the years our service has evolved into holistic reproductive health provision. Patients are not surprised to receive along with their abortion care, access to essential contraception and sexual health services.
 
As a registered charity we are a not-for profit organisation; any surplus we generate is used to improve our UK only based services. The credibility and reliability attained by decades of experience providing care has made us leaders in our field. Often we are the first port of call for advice and comment. This experience has enabled us to become innovators in our area of healthcare such as developing and increasing the use of Early Medical Abortion (abortion pill) which has revolutionised abortion care in this country.
 
Along side the care we provide direct to the patient we provide several business services which can add further value, speed up access and therefore ultimately reduce costs. Our Specialist Booking Services provide quick and easy access to abortion appointments from any provider a PCT commissions as well.
